Sunday, September 2nd, 2012: The top votegetter in this year's Hurlers League - AA Silver Slugger balloting was Nathan Fields, the outstanding Burlington third baseman. He finished the season with a .306 average and a .406 on-base percentage. Nathan Fields also registered 133 hits, 21 doubles, 3 triples, 24 home runs, 73 RBIs and 72 runs scored.

Sunday, September 2nd, 2012: The top votegetter in this year's Sluggers League - AA Silver Slugger balloting was Karl Thibodeau, the outstanding Franklin first baseman.
He finished the season with a .357 batting average, 170 hits, 40 home runs, 125 RBIs, .440 OBP and 100 runs scored.

 | Hurlers League - AA Best Pitcher Named
Saturday, September 1st, 2012: The Platinum Arm for 2012 has been presented and the Hurlers League - AA winner is Dale O'Neal of Burlington.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said O'Neal. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Curve star told reporters.
O'Neal excelled with an impressive 19-8 record in 32 starts. In 218.1 innings he yielded 178 hits and 64 walks, while striking out 245 and compiling a fine 3.38 ERA.
