He starred this season with a .304 batting average, 147 hits, 31 home runs, 110 RBIs, .363 OBP and 89 runs scored.

Friday, August 31st, 2012: Júlio Castro of the Boone Braves had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Silver Slugger for 2012.
The 25-year-old first baseman put up a .364 average and a .451 on-base percentage, piling up 172 hits, 48 doubles, 2 triples, 20 home runs, 91 RBIs and 88 runs scored.

 | Red Woods Wade, Platinum Arm Winner
Thursday, August 30th, 2012: He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Keith Wade performed like a veteran on the hill for the California Red Woods and walked away with the Hurlers League - A Platinum Arm in the process.
The 24-year-old Red Woods star fashioned a 14-6 won-loss record in 2012 with a 2.27 ERA. In 186.2 innings of work and 25 starts, Wade struck out 224 while giving up 121 hits and 75 walks. He held opposing batters to a .183 average.
